What She Wanted
Glamour! Kiesha only wears makeup at night and is in a rut. She's been using the same mascara, eye shadow and lipstick and wanted to try something new before stepping out that night. Daniel, a MAC makeup artist in San Francisco, didn't let her down.

Technique
After applying a MAC concealer and foundation with a soft fat brush, Daniel then applied MAC's Brazille Colourstick around and under Kiesha's eyes and under her brows. He used a liquid bronzer under her cheekbones and on her forehead.

Daniel applied MAC's Hush frosted eye shadow to the entire lid area and then dabbed Amber Lights on the lower lid and Raizin, a red-brown matte, for the crease. He also used the Raizin eye shadow for blush. Kiesha's eyes were lined with Carbon Matte, a black powder shadow.

After lining Kiesha's lips, Daniel applied MAC's Sheena Lip Lacquer giving Kiesha a glamour look worthy of a Bond girl!

Artist's Tips
1) Apply highlighter under the eye, around the outer area of the eye, under the brow and on the top of the forehead to brighten face and add dimension.

2) Apply foundation with a soft, fat brush in downward strokes.

3) When lining eyes, start from the outside and move towards the inside. Use a stiff angled brush. First dab liner on in little dots and then go back and line with short quick strokes.
