Uma Thurman at 'Kill Bill' premiere.

Nothing makes blue or green eyes “pop” like yellow-gold or apricot-copper eye shadow. One look at Uma, and you’ll be a believer. Gold is especially appealing with golden locks. Add bronzed skin and golden peach or apricot lips, and you’ve got a look that isn’t just fresh. It’s killer fresh!

You can also find tips on other celebrities in our Celebrity Looks Gallery or give yourself a celebrity virtual makeover on your own digital photo with BeautyRiot's Instant Makeover.

FACE
Foundation / Concealer Start with clean, exfoliated skin. After allowing moisturizer to soak in, apply concealer to the inner corners of the eyes and underneath to cover dark circles. Apply a small amount of concealer to the eyelid as an eyeshadow base.

Apply a light bronzer where the sun would normally tan your face. Use bronzer sparingly, a little at a time. Blend well.
Blush Use a terra cotta or apricot blush, whichever compliments your skin tone and eye color best.
EYES
Eyelid Apply a pearly, yellow-gold shade from upper lash line to the crease. Sweep a light dusting of this shade along your lower lash line.
Crease Apply a pearly copper or apricot in the crease from corner to corner.
Hilite Use just a touch of your lid shade on the brow bone.
Eyeliner Choose a medim or light brown wet or dry powder or pencil.

Apply a VERY thin line to the top lash line, from corner to corner. Use a VERY light touch and get the color in between the lashes. You can try dotting your way across the lash line and then going back and filling in to create one continuous line.

Repeat all the way around the eye, top and bottom lashes, until your lash line is just filled in. Keep the line thin and light. It should just serve to “pop” your eyes and make the lashes more pronounced.

If necessary, lighten the line by lightly dabbing it with a cosmetic sponge. This works better right after liner has been applied.
Brows Use a brow wax or powder with a small brush, or a sharp pencil, to shape and fill in. Choose a shade as close to your hair color as possible, or just a bit darker.

Start by defining the arch of each brow. Step back and look at your entire face in the mirror, and then fill in the rest of the brow as necessary.
Lashes Curl the upper lashes. Coat upper and lower lashes two or three times with a black, lengthening mascara.

LIPS
To get glass-smooth lips, try brushing them very gently with an old, soft toothbrush. Then apply petroleum jelly and allow it to soak in for 30 or more minutes.

Apply a terra cotta or apricot lipstick that matches your blush as closely as possible.

Apply one coat of the lipstick and blot with tissue, then apply a second coat. Repeat for longer lasting power. Then, line the lips if necessary. Top with a coat of clear gloss.
