1. Separate the front section of your hair and tie the rest of your hair back into a bun (so it won't get in the way while you braid).
2. French braid both sides away from your part, and pin them down with bobby pins.
3. Let the rest of your hair back down and use a 1 1/2-inch curling iron to curl the bottom half of it.
4. Mist all over with strong-hold hairspray to keep your braids and curls in place.
