PHOTO 2 OF 6
Brittany Murphy's shaggy cut is fun, funky and most importantly fuss-free for straight hair. Get the look:
1. Start by applying a small dollop of gel throughout hair with your fingers. Don't get crazy with the gel though, less is more here for short layers.
2. Blow dry hair upside down using your hands to tousle strands gently as you dry.
3. Flip head back upright and lift random strands up towards the ceiling while directing heat up the root to build volume.
4. Once hair is dry apply some pomade or wax and loosely twist and pinch ends to create piecey wisps.
