Charlize Theron's vintage bangs lend a certain je ne sais quoi to this red-carpet updo, which you could easily wear to a party. What to do:
1. French braid slightly damp hair, starting as close to your hairline and as tight to your scalp as possible. Sleep in the braid or hit it with a blow dryer for a few minutes and finish getting ready.
2. Release the braid, make a side part and pull all but your bangs back into a bun. Pin into place.
3. If your bangs still aren't wavy enough for you, spot-curl them with a tiny, half-inch curling iron.
4. Set with touchable, firm-hold hairspray.
