1. Apply a volumizing mousse to wet hair, especially if your hair is not naturally wavy. The mousse will add body and make hair hold a wave more easily. Blow dry with a diffuser.
2. Make a dramatic part in hair, to one side.
3. Using medium-size hot rollers or a medium-barrel curling iron, roll 3-inch sections of hair for five to 10 seconds each. Unroll curls quickly and run fingers through them to loosen them into waves. Style them to frame your face and set look in place with hairspray.
4. For a funky accoutrement, add a bridal-style headpiece with netting, or add a sparkly barrette or flower in your hair.
