Gwyneth Paltrow's messy, middle parted waves are a cool way to turn up the volume on straight hair. What to do:
1. If hair is not naturally straight, apply a smoothing cream and blow dry straight with a flat paddle brush.
2. First create a middle part and using a small curling iron, wrap 1-inch sections of the bottom half of your hair (below the ears) around the barrel. Wrap some sections clockwise and some counterclockwise.
3. With a flexible-hold hairspray mist the bottom half of your hair from underneath spraying upwards for added volume.
4. Finger comb your haphazard locks loose.
