1. Apply a texturizing lotion to damp hair to make it more stable for holding the shape of an updo style. Blow dry with a diffuser, scrunching hair with your fingers.
2. Use large hot rollers to roll 3-inch sections of hair all over head, keep them in for about 10 to 15 minutes or until cool. Remove rollers and finger brush waves, lifting and separating them to add more body.
3. Leave bangs and a few strands on both sides at front of hair loose; pull the rest of your hair into a loose ponytail at the back of head, halfway between the crown of your head and the nape of your neck. Secure ponytail with an elastic band, and twist the hair into a loose bun around the base of the ponytail and pin into place.
4. For bangs and the loose wisps of hair in front, use a dab of hair wax to twist them and direct them to frame your face. Spray the look into place with a medium-hold hairspray.
