1. Right when you get out of the shower, apply a generous amount of styling gel to wet hair and comb through.
2. Since you want a slick, almost "wet" look, don't let your hair dry. Instead, immediately gather your bangs (or a small section near the top of your head) and pin them back using bobby pins. This will help you avoid unwanted frizz.
3. Brush the rest of your hair back and tie it with an elastic. If it's not long enough, secure it up in pieces using bobby pins.
4. Mist generously with anti-humidity hairspray to keep flyaways under control.
