1. Right when you get out of the shower, part your hair down the center. Apply a dollop of styling gel to damp hair and comb it through the top half of your hair.
2. Apply smoothing cream to the bottom half of your hair and blow dry straight using a paddle brush.
3. Once your hair is completely dry, use a 1 1/2-inch curling iron to curl the bottom half of it. Brush through your curls to soften them into waves.
4. Mist all over with anti-frizz hairspray to finish.
