1. Using a large barrel curling iron, curl sections of your hair focusing on the length. Comb through curls with a paddle brush to achieve the less-polished look.
2. Section off a 1 1/2-inch deep section of hair from ear to ear. Comb the remainder of hair behind this section backwards toward the crown of your head and secure in a high, loose, ponytail.
3. Lightly tug hair forward out of the ponytail holder to create volume.
4 Use a fine-tooth comb to create a middle part in the sectioned off portion of hair. Retouch the face-framing pieces of hair with a curling iron as needed and finish by misting a medium hold hairspray throughout.
