11 Major Celeb Clothing Line Fails

Heidi Montag's horrible celebrity fashion clothing Heidiwood

No 2: Heidi Montag’s “Heidiwood”

Heidi Montag’s“Heidiwood” line could be described in two words: stripper chic. Critics say that all they could find in the collection were “booty shorts and zebra-print dresses that barely make it past the top of your thighs.” And even with prices under $40, “there just wasn’t enough fabric or style to go around,” says one critic.

One woman says the clothes looked “unoriginal, boring, trashy, and cheap.” The colors were mostly black and dark grey (with pops of pink), and “in the choice of length for the dresses and skirts you got … short or short.” The line was called “the complete opposite of flattering” by “New York Magazine,” and another shopper says the clothes were disposable: “You would wear it once, and I’m hoping it’s on Halloween.”

In fact, it got so many critiques, Anchor Blue said they would not continue to sell the line when Montag’s year-long contract ended in 2008.
