Add some color to your denim with a fabric patch. All you need is a scrap of fabric, scissors, needle, and thread. Place the fabric over the area you would like to cover. Cut the fabric to match the shape and size, with an additional 1/2-inch of fabric around the edges. With that extra edge, hem the fabric all the way around. Once you have finished hemming, attach the fabric to the jeans with a needle and thread.
