Off-the-Grid Vacay Style Guide

Wales

If you haven’t already been to London, it’s probably on your bucket list (at least, it should be). But odds are Wales never really occurred to you. But here’s why it should: it’s got tons of history (castles, anyone?), gorgeous hiking trails, and it’s a major foodie destination. Plus, Christian Bale is from there, enough said. It’s only about a four hour train ride or drive from London and once you’re there you can explore the city of Cardiff, hike around Brecon Beacons National Park (and check out some of the amazing restaurants in the area), or head north for some majorly stunning scenery. For more information, go to the Wales website.

What to pack: Even in the summer, it can still be chilly and rainy, so you’ll want to pack gear that’ll keep you dry and still look cute enough to allow you to stop in a pub after a day of hiking. Try this Rise and Shine Jacket, $148, Ultra Slides Pants, $54.50, and OBOZ Women’s Luna Hiking Shoes, $125.
