1. Part your hair to the side and apply texturizing mousse to your hair (try John Frieda Luxurious Volume Thickening Hair Mousse, $5.50).

2. Take a small section of hair at the top and French braid it back until it reaches your ear. Criss-cross two bobby pins to hold the braid down.

3. Use a 1-inch curling iron to curl the rest of your hair. Curl small sections at a time, and leave out your ends for a more casual look.

4. To finish, spritz hair with a spray gel (try Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Spray Gel, $4.50) and finger comb your curls to loosen them into pretty waves.
