Comfy and Stylish Looks for Class

Let’s face it: You don’t need a ton of makeup for your 8 a.m. lecture, but you also don’t want to show up with eye boogers and pillow creases. Luckily, there’s a middle ground. According to makeup artist Marissa Nemes, girls on the go only need a few simple products to look great in the morning.

Since most college girls are on a budget, Nemes suggests skipping the makeup counter at the department store and heading to Target instead. “Target has some great lines, like Sonia Kashuk, JK Jemma Kid, Pixi …” says Nemes.

Once there, Nemes suggests trying out a palette. Most palettes contain makeup for the eyes, lips, and cheeks — and since it’s all in one case, it doesn’t get any easier. Nemes’ fave is Sonia Kashuk’s Face Palette Spring Awakenings, $19.99.

As for foundation, Nemes only advises using it if you really need the coverage. If so, stick with an eye brightener, concealer, or tinted moisturizer. Nemes’ pick? Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector, $10.99. It’s easy to apply, contains SPF, and you’ll look more awake for class.
