What it is: JewelMint is an online monthly jewelry shopping club designed by actress Kate Bosworth and fashion stylist/designer Cher Coulter. JewelMint offers a variety of earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets. The membership fee is $29.99 per month per item.

What we found: Our editors loved the selection. From steam punk earrings and Aztec necklaces to wrapped bangles and stacked rings, JewelMint had a wide variety of options. Plus, the jewelry arrived in a beautiful mint green box with an individual card specific to the piece.

However, we found that the quality of the pieces didn’t match the $30 price tag. Most reviewers said the price point should be around the $15 range — and that they could find three to five pieces at Forever 21 for the same price of one item at JewelMint. And while you can return an item, it may cost you a restocking fee of $4.95.
