Did your creep meter just go off? Mine did too. Vests, coats, and sweaters are just a few clothing items made from the discarded and/or shaved fur of beloved pets. Yup, once the fur has been collected, it gets mailed off to a "specialist" who turns the fur into yarn. The yarn then gets sent back to the owner and they can make the latest fashion out of Muffy's coat. There's even a book available called "Knitting with Dog Fur," available on Amazon.com
