• Felt backing

If you're overwhelmed by this list of materials, don't be! Rygorsky says you can find tons of deals if you "check out local craft stores for clearance items" or hit up thrift stores to save some bucks. For this particular look, if you choose to use a dark-colored flower, buy brighter feathers to really make the headpiece pop. (Remember, this is just one way to style this accessory. Feel free to experiment when you create your own.)
