More good colors for black hair

Icy pastels make black hair pop.

Silvery pastel shades, like that of Lucy Liu's pale pink dress, look smashing next to the skin of most raven-haired hotties. "Brights and light colors should be very icy, not muted," says Kirsh, who also likes silvery blues and minty greens for this hair color. Note to self: wimping out and going for a less "wow" color hurts double with black hair -- boring and unflattering.
