Keep it light

Of course the style of your clothes will differ based on profession. But regardless of where you work, you should stick to lighter fabrics with a summery feel. Which means you should leave your wool sweaters at home (please), and "avoid fabrics such as polyester that tend not to breathe well in warmer weather," say Zangardi and Haenn.

Instead, pull out your light and breezy clothes (think cotton, nylon and linen), and play with lighter and brighter colors. "Choosing breathable fabric for summer will ensure you're comfortable," say Zangardi and Haenn.
