1. To start, part your hair down the middle for a polished touch.



2. Apply smoothing cream to damp hair from root to tip. Blow dry your hair straight using a round brush (focus mainly on smoothing out the top half of your hair).



3. Then use a 1 1/2-inch curling iron to curl the bottom half of your hair, starting with your longer layers. Twist the barrel toward your face to get this look.



4. Once all of your hair is curled, mist your curls with strong-hold hairspray to keep their shape.
