Liven up a side bun

Lauren Conrad’s piece-y hairstyle adds romance to an otherwise “boring” side bun. Here’s how Sunshine says to get the look:

1. Starting with clean hair, wrap large sections of hair around large hot rollers and leave them in for 15 minutes.

2. Once the rollers have cooled, take them out and brush through your hair with a boar bristle brush to smooth out the curls.

3. Leaving out a large piece of hair near your face, gather the rest of your hair to one side, and roll it under to create a loose bun. Take the front section of hair, sweep it back and pin it up above the bun using bobby pins.

4. Spray your updo with strong-hold hairspray.
