We challenged 9 women to wear hairstyles and makeup from Fashion Week to work -- did they survive or get fired?

Her thoughts: The look was a cinch to pull off. Hair extensions and all, it took about 12 minutes (but that's not including blow dry time I spent earlier in the morning to get my hair straight) and really, I only used a couple of products.
For the makeup:
1. I started by applying foundation (MAC Pro Longwear SPF 10 Foundation, $29.50).
2. Then I blushed my cheeks with a cream rose blush and used bronzer to contour my face, applying it under my cheekbones and to the bridge of my nose to copy the models glow.
3. For the eyes I used Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel CreamLiner in black, $10.95 all over my lids and under my eyes to create the dramatic cat eye. Followed with two coats of black mascara on the top and bottom of my lashes.
4. Finally, for the lips, I applied an orangey-beige lipstick (Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense in Shade 24, $19) and a clear gloss for shine.
I liked the look although I was a little weirded out looking so "done up" in the office. Having an intense smoky eye while pouring my morning coffee and eating oatmeal seemed just somewhat -- wrong. It's definitely a look I would only ever wear again out at night to a club or party.
My boyfriend hated the look. He was like "I couldn't imagine going around with you looking like that all the time," then he added "I want you to look like you" and all was forgiven. Turns out men really do just like subtle makeup, no matter how much we fight it.
