1. If you've got a head full of natural curls, apply smoothing cream in sections, gently shaking each to let hair form into curls, and let hair air dry.
2. If your hair isn't naturally curly, mist with a heat protectant spray and use a 1/2-inch curling iron to curl all of your hair.
3. Now put a dallop of styling cream on your palms, rub them together and gently scrunch your curls to add a messy feel.
