Too lazy to head to the salon for a cut or even work up a lather in the shower? See how to cheat the system and look fabulous without the effort
Instead of blow drying your hair right out of the shower, try this "ancient secret" both Sebbag and Cutler swear by: "To cut drying time in half, add a pump or two of blow-dry lotion (try: Redken Satinwear 02 Ultimate Blow Dry Lotion, $19.50) and rough dry with your hands until your hair is about 60 percent dry." It's faster than trying to immediately straighten sopping wet hair.
Then, clip up the top half of your hair and use a round brush to blow dry the bottom half first. "Always start drying the hair underneath," says Cutler. This adds volume from the inside out. To finish, unclip the rest of your hair and blow dry section by section.
