No time for a shower? No worries. These styles will keep that day-old (or week-old) hair looking good, no matter the situation
Did you know that dirty hair holds curl better than clean hair? A curling iron will add volume and texture to your dirty hair, making it look super chic and effortless. See how Alejandra says to get the look:
1. Start with dirty hair. Dampen your hair with volumizing spray and blow dry it with a diffuser to shape and break apart your waves, says Thigpen.
2. Then use a 1-inch curling iron to curl random sections of your hair to add some more texture. Don't make the heat setting too hot, since it won't take much heat to create loose, beachy waves.
3. Next, gather all of your hair to one side without using a brush, and secure it into a low ponytail under the nape of your neck, says Alejandra.
4. Pull out a few face-framing pieces, and tug on the ponytail to loosen it up even more.
