While it would be great to get tons of sleep, for most of us that doesn’t really work with our schedule. But Heather Graham insists that she needs 11 or 12 hours of sleep to look as beautiful as possible. Obviously, a good night’s sleep will help you out in the beauty and health departments, but do you really need 12 hours of it?

“Everyone needs different amounts of sleep,” says Lipman. “Some people need six hours, some people need eight hours — 12 hours is a little much. Usually between six and nine is right.” And Lipman has proof: According to a study done at the University of Warwick, the researchers found that too much sleep and too little sleep have the same harmful effects … one of which is premature death.
