Prep your lids

With a brush or your fingers, apply foundation or concealer (the non-irritating mineral formula of Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer, $7.96, works well for this) all over the lid and underneath the eye, concentrating on the inner corner of the eye closest to the nose. Don't bother with the rest of your face yet, you're better off waiting until you've finished your eye makeup and gotten rid of the inevitable shadow splatter.
