While it's tempting to do your eye makeup in one go, the experts say not to. Instead, as you work on your makeup, try checking your look from time to time while wearing your glasses. "You should take your glasses on and off, so you know what the makeup will look like once your glasses are on," says Rebecca Prior, Chief of Makeup Services at Napoleon Perdis.

"You don't want to wait until the end, then put on your glasses and find out you can't see any of your makeup." Prior suggests even trying on your glasses after every coat of mascara, just to see how each coat looks when you add those lenses.
