Identifying the shape of your face

Before you can choose the right frames, you need to understand what works well with your face shape. The hiccup here is that if you're like most people, you don't have a freakin' clue what shape your face is. Don't worry, it's easy to figure out.

Head to the bathroom, pull your hair into a ponytail and, using a lipstick you don't like, trace the shape of your head onto the mirror. Look closely at what you've drawn and match it with one of the following shapes.
