Feet tattoos definitely tend to be the least committal, Clement says, because "you can just cover them up with a shoe." Lea Michele's blue butterfly is "flaunty" but not really that dangerous -- it's "in your face" while not quite there at the same time, Clement says.

Since the foot is a very painful area to get a tattoo, "the desire is definitely there" if you decide to do it, Clement says. Just like with wrist tattoos, it's best to stick to a smaller sized design, or else it will overwhelm your foot.
