I had an after-work event this evening (and of course, it was snowing again — here you get to see my lovely deep red curtains), so I decided to try a little something out of the box for me — as always, I feel most comfortable at events with my hair down and wavy.

To get started, I applied a curling cream, and blow dried my hair using just my fingertips. Once completely dry, I curled every last section of my hair, using a small-barreled curling iron. I have thick hair, so this was pretty time-consuming. Then, I teased some of the hair at the top of my head for some extra height, and pulled the hair into a low side pony tail. I twisted the ends of the hair around the base, secured with bobby pins, and clipped in a pink rosette to complete the look.
