Hair Dare Day 29

Day 29: The Mom

I love looking at pictures of my mom growing up, when she was my age, because it’s fun to see just how much we looked alike — I get that I was her spitting image all the time. Back in the 70s she loved to part her long, dark hair straight down the middle, and wear it with some loose waves. So in respect to my mom, this is the closest I could get (there is a chunk that would just not stay in place). To get the look, I blow dried my hair straight, then added some shine serum (I wanted it to glow like Cher’s hair), then I parted directly down the middle and sprayed my pesky bangs with hairspray. I finished off the look by curling a few chunks — and there you go, a style a mother could love.
