OK, OK, so you’ve seen a braid or two by now, but come on, they’re so much fun! And when you mess them up like Julie Benz did it makes it even cooler. Here’s what to do:

1. Roughly blow dry your hair so it has plenty of texture.

2. Create a side part and pull your hair to one side, covering your ear.

3. Start braiding just below ear level and secure the end of the braid with a clear elastic.

4. Use your fingers to “massage” the braid, make it looser and let a few wisps of hair fall out.
