Day 19: Shabby Sleek
I used to rock the faux-hawk pony quite often, but this occasion seems dressier, so I give you: the faux-hawk … bun.
Get the Look:
Separate a section of hair from temple to temple and pin it out of your way toward your nose. Pull the remainder of your hair into a tight ponytail at the back of your head. Loosely wind into a fat bun and gently pin to your head. Release the top section and tease the roots with a paddle brush to get fuller volume than possible with a comb. Smooth the top side of the section that will show, without releasing the volume, then softly pull it all back toward the bun. If you need more height, use the ole twist-down-to-the-tips-and-push-upward trick. Regardless, pin the section to the bun and hide the ends of your hair around the base of the bun.
