How did you accessorize your look? Since the dress cut is so simple, I wanted to add a ton of glitz in the form of arm swag, understated — but matching — gold earrings, and gold-tipped heels. The pearl collar necklace adds a touch of softness to counteract the boxy, boldness of the structured handbag and the dress cut.

What type of hair and makeup complete this look? I wanted to go dark on my eyes to make my look more nighttime chic. As for the hair, I’m a sucker for long waves, which I personally think go with everything — but if I don’t have time to curl, I also like the simple, textured pony which I think complements the easy, yet put-together look.
