If you wanted to reuse your summer skirt, Quirk suggests a mod look as a unique way to take this common item into the fall. She recommended adding tights, high boots, and a darker top, along with a jacket that hit at the length of the skirt — all in black or a dark color.

Devran ditched her white tank and added a dark blue top, black tights, and brown boots. Devran choose the brown boots because she didn’t have any black riding boots. As for a jacket, Devran didn’t have a longer one, but found a black bomber jacket. Though this isn’t exactly the mod look Quirk described, Devran said she would definitely wear it out. It’s all about working with what you have.
