Again, Quirk recommended a summer dress in a darker palette and in a heavier fabric than just cotton. Steph has the color down, though it’s still made of very light fabric. One of Quirk’s biggest pet peeves is when people try to push a too-summery look into the fall. For example, if Steph’s dress had tons of flowers or was made of a gauzy material, this look wouldn’t work.

Quirk suggested tights, along with booties, a jean jacket — a staple in Quirk’s wardrobe — and a fall-ish scarf. Steph had a pair of navy tights that match the color of her dress, and found a pair of brown booties. She pulled Quirk’s staple and grabbed a jean jacket, and added a scarf. Pretty close!
