Jennifer Lopez Hairstyles Updo

“I just wake up looking this good” updo

Don’t wake up with perfectly straight hair? No worries. “The results will look a little different on curly hair versus straight hair, but the easy, messy feel will still be there,” Carver says.

Step 1: Start with un-washed hair (for help with this, just forget to set your alarm, voila, no time to shower). “If your hair isn’t oily and still looks good, this style will benefit from a little dirtiness,” Carver says. If hair is clean, though, you can get that “day two texture” by adding a texturizing cream like Redken Touch Control 05 Volumizing Texture Whip, $18.

Step 2: Loosely pull your hair back with your hands as if you were going to create a ponytail. Using a comb, pull out a 2-inch section of hair at the front of your head that runs from ear to ear. Clip this hair to the side so it’s out of the way. Let go of the rest of your hair.
