Talk to your hairdresser about the cut or color you want. Bring in pictures if you can and ask her the following questions:

1. Will this work with my hair type?



2. Will this flatter my face shape?



3. (If you’re coloring your hair) Will this work with my skin tone?

He or she should be able to answer all of these questions (hopefully honestly) and either assure you that the cut you chose will work, or help steer you in the direction of a style that is best for you.
