The day I had been dreading had arrived. I washed my hair (again with Head and Shoulders), combed it, and … that was it. I was sure I would look like a flat-rooted and poufy-ended weirdo, but my boyfriend didn’t even notice when I left the house with damp hair. When it finally dried I wasn’t loving my look, but I wasn’t totally hating it either. Definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. I think part of that has to do with my recent haircut, the stylist added more layers in so I could avoid my usual flatness on top.
