I do occasionally skip the blow dryer on the weekends, but for that I usually throw my hair into a ponytail, so this was a good way to see what my hair (and new haircut) could do. I applied Bumble and bumble Curl Conscious Cream, $27 to my damp hair and twisted sections around my fingers to get more defined waves instead of the frizzy mess from the day before. Once it was dry I spritzed on Fekkai Marine Summer Hair Beach Waves, $23 to increase the texture and Redken Wax Blast 10, $13.15 on my roots to give them a little more lift.

It’s definitely a change from my usual straight and sleek look, but I’m kind of loving the rocker vibe I’ve got going on. This just might make the hair rotation.
