1. If you have finer hair, make sure to apply some volumizing mousse to damp hair to create some body. Otherwise, apply a bit of styling cream to damp hair to create hold, and blow dry your hair using a round brush. (It doesn’t have to look perfect, since you’ll be curling it anyways.)



2. Part you hair to the side. Take diagonal sections of hair and roll them back with a 1 1/4-inch curling iron. Make sure to twist the barrel back away from the face for a windblown look.



3. Use your fingers to break up the curls, and sweep them over one shoulder. Spray your hair with a soft-hold hairspray to keep the curl.
