Look 7 in real life

Worn by: Stephanie, intern

Her thoughts: Overall the look was easy to replicate, the most difficult part was getting my hair to part in the center since my hair naturally parts to the side. Here’s how I got the look:

For my hair:

1. I used Pureology Antifade Complex Texture Twist, $16 to keep my center part in place.

2. Then I pulled my hair into a high ponytail and teased the ends for volume.

3. Then I wrapped my ends into a bun using bobby pins and secured the bottom with another hair tie to get that cinched look.

4. I finished with hairspray to give the bun extra hold.

For my makeup:

1. I used Make Up For Ever HD Concealer #340, $28 under my eyes and around my nose.

2. Then I set the concealer with Youngblood Mineral Rice Setting Powder, $25.85.

3. I added more depth and color to my cheeks with NARS blush/bronzer duo in Orgasm/Laguna, $39.

4. I lined my eyes with Sephora Long Lasting Eye Liner, $5 to get a bold wing tip look.

5. I pumped up my lashes with Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, $17 and Fairy Drops Scandal Queen Mascara, $24, then I added false lashes for more drama.

6. For my lips I blended two different lipsticks: Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited in BR 723, $29.71 and Benefit Full Finish Lipstick in Wanna?, $18 to get the peachy pink shade.

I really liked how the bun turned out and was pleasantly surprised that a center part went really well with this look. Definitely will try this look again for a summer party or a girl’s night out.

I received many compliments on my lashes (my boyfriend’s favorite part of the look) and the roundness of the bun from girlfriends.
