Anne Hathaway’s never been known as a big risk-taker when it comes to her hair. But in 2012, she underwent a hair transformation that was even more dramatic than her “Princess Diaries” makeover. For Hathaway’s role as Fantine in this Christmas’ “Les Miserables,” the actress cut off all her hair, just as her character does in the story. Afterward, Hathaway said she was reduced to “a mental patient level of crying,” but she’s since embraced the short ‘do. We’re just glad she took the plunge in the first place. Hathaway’s seriously short pixie cut gives off a classy and sophisticated Parisian vibe that she’s well able to pull off. Tres chic!
