1. Face: Use foundation that’s a shade darker than your natural skin tone to contour your face and create “shadows” underneath your cheekbones and along your jawline to add more depth to your face, says Babaian.



2. Eyes: You can use the extra space on your face by extending all of your eye makeup out, says Babaian. Apply a metallic shadow to your upper lids (staying below your crease), and then apply black shadow on the outer half of your upper lid to create a soft, smoky cat eye, says Flor. By winging out your eyeliner, your eyes will fill up your face more.



3. Lips: This holiday season, skip the traditional red and try a fun lip color like orange or fuschia. “That’s how you separate yourself from your mother,” says Babaian. Before you apply the color, use lip liner to make the cupid’s bow of your lips a bit more angular.
