So I love the change but I must admit, I’m still getting used to it. The short hair is making me feel more “cool” but slightly less feminine. I was thinking uber-glamorous makeup today just to celebrate my womanliness. I went for a deep brown smoky eye using black eyeliner, dark brown shimmery shadow and matte beige shadows — all by MAC — and finished the look with a peach-pink lip gloss.

This look was a bit like that of day six but more chocolate-y, and the smoky eye turned out a lot better. It’s probably my favorite look thus far. An easy way to pull off this look would be with a set like Sephora’s Brown Smoky Eyes Palette, $36.
