Hair tip #1: Find the best length
First off, you want to avoid getting a chin-length bob. A cut that falls smack dab at chin level will draw the eye right to, well, your chin. Kevin Ryan, co-creator of Rsession Tools, says this length will also “add width around the jaw line.” So not what you’re going for if you want to hide a double-chin.
The best way to avoid this is to choose a longer hairstyle to lengthen the face, or keep your bob above chin level (like Selma Blair’s hairstyle) to draw eyes upward toward your cheekbone, which will “make a chin look slimmer,” says Ryan.
