How to do it: I don’t know about you, but liquid eyeliner has me shaking in the corner of my bathroom, it’s so intimidating. But Make Up For Ever artist Wendy Karcher has some tips that are talking me off the bathtub ledge:

• When trying to get the perfect extended tail, aim toward the end of your brow bone.



• Also, line only the inner 1/2 of your lid, then flip your brush and start at the ends and work back inward.



• To get a perfect, fine line, aim toward your lashes instead of aiming for the base of your lid. It’ll help prevent it from getting to thick.



• Don’t use the brush included with the liquid liner — use a very fine liner brush instead. They’re easier to use.



• Pointy Q-tips are your best friends when creating liquid lined eyes, for clean up.
